Beanstalk Joins Climate Wise to Restore Forests and Protect Wildlife in Zimbabwe

Beanstalk is proud to announce a new partnership with Climate Wise to support the Imire Rhino Conservation & Wildlife Reforestation Project in Zimbabwe.

Climate Wise is a not-for-profit organisation that helps companies to offset their climate emissions through a number of nature-based solutions.

This fantastic initiative focuses on reforestation, habitat restoration, and endangered species protection, including the vital conservation of the rhinos within the Imire Reserve.

How We’re Making a Difference

Each month, Beanstalk makes a financial contribution that will:

• Plant trees in Beanstalk’s name each month throughout the Imire Reserve
• Support reforestation and biodiversity restoration
• Provide tangible protection for rhino populations and regenerating ecosystems

As Climate Wise is focused on maximising the impact of their work, they ensure that 90% of all contributions will be directly channelled into this project.

Beyond financial support, our team will attend an annual ESG training session, helping us learn more about climate change, carbon footprints, and sustainable practices, so that our impact extends beyond planting trees.

As part of the partnership, we’ll receive project updates and stories from the field, statistics on our tree-planting impact, conservation progress, and practical ESG insights and sustainability tips that our team can implement in everyday life.

Why This Matters

After seeing first-hand the incredible work Climate Wise promotes across the globe, the team at Beanstalk unanimously agreed that we want to take an active role in climate leadership.

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges humanity faces and is directly contributing to humanitarian emergencies from heatwaves, wildfires, floods, tropical storms, and hurricanes.

We believe that meaningful action comes from collective efforts. When individuals and businesses of all sizes participate, small contributions quickly create a big impact.

As Barack Obama said in 2016:

“Someday, our children, and our children’s children, will look us in the eye and they’ll ask us, did we do all that we could when we had the chance to deal with this problem and leave them a cleaner, safer, more stable world? I want to be able to say, yes, we did. Don’t you want that?”
