When the campaign started in Summer 2023, WRS was the only company within the Lloyd & Whyte group whom Beanstalk were engaged with. As of January 2024, we are now working successfully with three of the seven brokers in the Lloyd & Whyte Group.


Established in 1966, WRS Insurance Brokers are a team of experienced, committed, and ethical insurance professionals, specialising predominantly in the third sector – charity, church and other non-profit organisations. WRS are proudly part of the Benefact Group, a charity owned, international family of financial services companies that gives all available profits to charity and good causes.

Their dedicated and highly experienced team of charity experts currently cater to a client base of over 1200 diverse charities

Campaign Background and Objectives

The initial brief was to engage with companies who might be interested in working with WRS due to their unique charitable purpose through the Benefact Group. Beanstalk initially prioritised calls based on turnover bands and proceeded to book telephone introductions, video meetings and face-to-face appointments to allow their Business Development Executive, to build a rapport with these organisations and generate new business.

The Strategy

  • Invited WRS team to Beanstalk offices for an in-person campaign implementation
  • Filter client database of registered charities
  • Gathered valuable information from each prospect regarding their insurance review and renewal dates
  • Qualify out any prospects who are less than halfway into an LTA
  • Introduce WRS as part of the Benefact Group, the UK’s 3rd largest corporate donor
  • Assign a Beanstalk telemarketer with a personable, friendly, and engaging nature, with weekly communication with WRS to ensure two-way knowledge transfer
